Why your Ice Bowl was the most fun, the weirdest, the hardest-to-play, a strange or exotic format, etc.?
The 2025 Farmers Park Ice Bowl was held on Saturday February 1st . It was a true Ice Bowl experience that day with high wind, blowing sleet and snow along with some rain thrown in for good measure. The 36 Disc Golfers that turned out braved the elements for 2 rounds of quality disc golf. The slogan for the Ice Bowl organization is “No Wimps / No Whiners” that was true for this day for sure. We had players from as far away as Port Hadlock, WA and many locals from all over the south Sound. The 36 players played in 6 different Pro and Amateur divisions and included men and women players. The top Pro player was John Crawford (Graham, WA) with a 5 under par 36 holes. The top Amateur player was Bruce Swiney-Weaver (Puyallup, WA) with a 3 over par 36 holes. It was a rough day conditions wise and the course showed its grit by not giving up many low scores. One Ace was had by Lucas De Monnin (Tacoma, WA) while on his way to an Amateur low first round of 1 over par.
