Why your Ice Bowl was the most fun, the weirdest, the hardest-to-play, a strange or exotic format, etc.?
First ever PDGA C-Tier at this course, so we had no idea if it would play fast, slow, tough, easy, etc. We also intended to have a pot-luck lunch and didn't know if the pavilion's power source would hold out. We started Round 1 at 9am, started Round 2 at 12:30pm, and finished awards at 3:30pm with plenty of daylight. We're going to do it all over again next year!
Was the weather particular memorable or challenging? Tell us about it.
It was the absolute windiest ice bowl I've ever run or played in. Sustained gusts of 30-40mph all day ... extremely uncommon for Connecticut in winter.
